Need Brooks No Delay can find Thorongil (and everything else in the deck) which you want on Eowyn to enable discarding Elven-light for +1WP and a source to discard to Háma.
Herubrand can quest for 5 on turn one and with Éowyn that's 9 before Forth, The Three Hunters! even flips.
Hama can recycle up to three times, usually going for Foe-hammer or NBND.

May 15, 2023What would you take out for Onward Into Battle / Unexpected Courage? I do like the readying abilities, but cutting cheap restricted attachments lowers the chance of fast contract flip. I felt like Quick Strike helped reduce the need for a defender as I could kill an enemy after engagement w/ Háma and Strength and Courage |
May 16, 2023with more actions, you can defend (with 2 shields Eowyn has defense of 6-10) and do not need necessarily the Quickstrike. quickstrike is 3 times in the game (asumin you use hama as described) with readying you can do that every round. my replacements would be: in: out
i would also think about 1 Book of Eldacar replacing 1 Elven-light you can only use max 1 light per round after she has thorongil ) the book you can use for whatever is needed the most from all your tacticevents. |
May 16, 2023Yeah that seems reasonable. I'm going -1 FotV, -2 Bow and -2QS for 2 onward and 3 gondorian shield and swap an elven light for a book of eldacar. ty |
May 16, 2023Is A Test of Will totally needed? I know it's arguably the best card in the game, but you need Thorongil first. I would rather have a second Snowmane or Onward Into Battle. You could also probably cut a single Sterner than Steel. |
May 16, 2023Thorongil is unique, so he can catch it with Need Brooks No Delay so i would say he got it within the first 3 rounds, and then each test of will is worth it. |

would take Onward Into Battle and perhaps an additional Unexpected Courage or Miruvor, then all can quest and fight. would add 3 Gondorian Shield either for Round Shield or Bow of Yew or Quick Strike
