The Hauberk of Mail is for the Warden of Helm's Deep, who is your principle defender against enemies that slip through. The Ancestral Armor can be played on him too, in which case he's an amazing defender: 6 with 5 .
Take Strider as your opening card, and Strength and Courage as your Ring card.
Captain's Wisdom is great in a Grey Wanderer deck: exhaust the hero to gain the resources, and then the contract to gain two more resources & ready him again.
The sideboard is either tech for particular quests (e.g. when playing Deadman's Dike I put in a Will of the West & a Dwarven Tomb), or stuff I want to try.
