Wandalf the Gizzard 2578

So first off, this is not an actual deck. I made this to post a question without setting up a FFG account. I need help playing solo two handed on OCTGN. When I click "start game" and checkbox "host on LAN," it works fine and sets up two tabletops, after I "join" in a second instance. Then when I try to load a player deck, it loads the deck in both tabletops. So if there is any way to actually control two player decks, it would be great if someone let's me know. Thanks! ;)

I copy/paste :

1) Launch OCTGN on your computer. This should open up the program on your computer. Do not log in.

2) Launch OCTGN a second time. You will see a prompt stating that there is another instance of OCTGN running and asking if you would like to close it. Press “No”, as you want two separate OCTGN windows to be open at the same time. Do not log in to this OCTGN window either.

3) Pick one OCTGN window (it doesn’t matter which), and launch a game. You can do this by heading to the tab that says “Play or Spectate”, and then hitting the green “Start” button. Hit Start on the prompt that comes up and a game lobby window will open up.

4) Now, pull up the other instance of OCTGN and go the “Play or Spectate” tab. Press the “Join Unlisted” button. It should automatically fill in the port information. Simply press the green “Connect” button.

5) In the lobby window, there should now be two “players” listed. If you haven’t changed the name, these default to “null”. Press the green “Start” button to begin the game.

6) You will now have two windows open with the OCTGN play screen. Choose one to be the first player. Load up a player deck and the deck for the scenario you want to play.

7) On the other OCTGN window, load up a deck for the “second player”.

8) You can now play the game two-handed. You can switch back and forth between windows to control each deck. However, if you don’t want to have to keep switching, there is another option. Find the window for the “first player” (the one that loaded the first deck and the scenario deck). Above your hand, you will see tabs for “Global”, “null”, and “null”. Click on the last tab (which shows you the cards for the “other player”; these will be face down). Right click on their hand, deck, and discard pile and choose the “Take control” option. You will now be able to control both decks from the same window! All you will have to do now is simply click between the tabs above your hand. Make sure you right click and change the setting under visibility so that you are able to see the cards for the second player as well.
