Thematic LOTR Saga - Part 4: At Dawn, Look to the East

The fortress of Helm’s Deep stands as the last refuge of Rohan, but as Saruman’s vast army crashes against its walls, even stone and steel may not be enough. Legolas and Gimli rally the Rohan defenders, holding fast against wave after wave of Uruk-hai. The Deeping Wall shatters, yet the warriors of Rohan refuse to yield. Gandalf rides with reinforcements, but the defenders must last until dawn.

A continuation of an altered thematic 2-hand campaign.

This is for the Treason of Saruman's Helm's Deep scenario. Initially I tried making a more thematic fellowship of Legolas/Gimli/Theoden defending Helm's Deep with Gandalf/Eomer/Theodred providing reinforcements, but I couldn't get it to work reliably, so now it's kind of a jumble of Rohan, some Gondor, Gandalf, and Haldir (movie thematic!)

I mulligan'd for anything that will allow readying (Armored Destrier, Unexpected Courage, Steward of Gondor on Aragorn, Steed of the Mark). I was able to buff Gandalf up to be a one-wizard wrecking crew. He had a couple campaign boons such as Beyond All Hope and Glamdring, an Unexpected Courage, Shadowfax, and two Armored Destriers which meant he could quest for 4, defend anywhere for 4 multiple times, attack anywhere for 6 multiple times, plus be readied by Aragorn again if need be, basically every round. That's dependent on getting Golden Belt on him so he can have 3 restricted attachments. Alternatively, load up Beregond with a Gondorian Shield and Armored Destrier, and through the use of Forewarned, Gandalf's Staff, Hasty Stroke, and the Destriers, you never have to deal with any shadow card effects.

I also had Elf-friend and Light of Valinor on Aragorn, which, when he had Celebrían's Stone and Andúril allowed him to quest for 5 for free.
