Description
We played this 20+ times and won every time with these two decks. It's an easy one to win, and pretty fun.
Lore/Spirit player mulligans for Light of Valinor or Master of the Forge. Eleanor is used exclusively to cancel the Treachery that deals 1 damage to allies, because that will kill all your allies. Once you get Master of the Forge out, you should very quickly get all your needed attachments. Elrond can use Vilya/Unexpected Courage to crank out cards each round. This player also does location control, threat control, etc.
Tactics/Leadership player takes all the enemies. The 26 threat enemy who can go back into the deck when you kill him should not be killed. Just leave him engaged.
Aside from that, don't travel blindly to any of the locations until you know what it is. It's ok to slow play in the beginning, and wait to build up your board state. There's no rush to move forward in this one.
Once you travel to the final location, needing 8 progress to win, Legolas can usually kill 2 enemies to put 4 progress on it, then Asfaloth and Steed of Imladris put 4 on, and you win the game in 1 round.
