This is one of the 2 decks for Helm's Deep in my Thematic Saga run (which includes the 2 PoD quests that are inserted after the 1st quest in Black Riders.) I beat the quest twice with the Fellowship.
Boons: Anduril is in this deck.
Thanks to Beorn for the original deck. I have tweaked this for 2-player use, giving the other deck many of the Leadership cards. I also introduced Éowyn. Didn't really want to, but I couldn't figure out a way to make up for her Willpower when she wasn't around.
I also wanted to avoid Erkenbrand, since he was not actually in Helm's Deep for the battle but couldn't make it work. It's okay --- I've had other "this is happening elsewhere" themes in my Saga run.
I found I really wanted A Test of Will or Ride to Ruin along with some allies in my opening hand.
I tried to save A Test of Will for either Devilry Of Saruman or Night Without End. It was important to use Ride to Ruin or The Riddermark's Finest after combat for the round to clear Helm's Gate (thereby avoiding the very bad effect of exploring that location.)
The first Unexpected Courage goes on Gimli in the other deck.
