Sometimes it just feels good to tech against a tough quest. This deck takes aim squarely at NM The Dunland Trap. The quest punishes decks that rely on ally swarms or item/mount attachments. This deck has two allies and no offending attachments.

Grimbeorn gets the ring and all the courage, which allows him to handle all of the combat. The other heroes get the willpower-boosting attachments. 1B keeps discarding the player's hand so the cost curve is kept pretty low.

Mulligan for DĂșnedain Warning and at least one willpower-boosting card. There isn't a lot of willpower here, but the quest doesn't necessarily demand it. As long as Grimbeorn is clearing the table of enemies each round, the rest of the team can clear an active location each turn.

Threat management is the key to success. The One Ring and Gandalf is a challenging combination, so waiting a few rounds before calling on the wizard is prudent.
