Synopsis
A Noldor twist on the old Rohan rush deck. It is heavy on questing and location control, with a small dose of emergency combat and healing.
Design
The old Rohan rush decks from the Mirkwood cycle were powerful, but generally suffered from a lack of card draw and resource acceleration. Recent additions have helped the archetype; mainly Théoden and Gamling; however, with the wealth of card draw options that the Noldor bring to the table, these two archetypes form an alliance that emphasizes what the Rohirrim do best.
Strategy
There is no specific card to mulligan for; you are more looking for an opening strategy. Gamling with some Rohan allies is a strong option, as is Protector of Lórien combined with Elven-light. If combat is important, then Snowmane and Herugrim are nice to see.
Setup is fast. Théoden and Arwen Undómiel provide enough resource acceleration to get allies out quickly, or even a first-turn Gamling, Háma, or Éomund. You'll probably burn through cards quickly. Elven-light will keep you fed, with Galdor of the Havens standing by as an emergency backup.
True to form, this deck is capable of mustering high amounts of when required, especially with Astonishing Speed. It is also a strong counter for location-lock: Between The Riddermark's Finest, Ride to Ruin and The Evening Star, you should be able to maintain control of the staging area.
Performance
This deck has provided solid support in quests including Voyage Across Belegaer, Across the Ettenmoors, and The Three Trials.
