Lore and Spirit deck composed of cards up to Khazad-Dum. The deck was designed to complement my wife's combat-heavy dwarf and eagle deck (Those Eagles are Carrying Dwarves! - Mirkwood and Khazad-Dum) by managing the questing, as well as healing in a pinch. Extremely low threat to start, but a liability in combat situations until you get some allies out. Needs a higher-threat, combat-heavy companion deck to keep the heat off and manage enemies while this deck clears locations and advances the objectives. So far we've scraped by Escape from Dol-Gudur and crushed the Hunt for Gollum, so going to keep going and see how long it carries me!

Really though this deck paired with Eagles Carrying Dwarves! - Mirkwood and Khazad-Dum is really powerful and I like it a lot. |
Feb 03, 2021Appreciate the feedback! I agree that Astonishing Speed is pretty situational, not a bad cut. Are you recommending another Song of Travel to better the odds of pulling it? I can't attach it to Éowyn and get two Spirit resources per turn, or can I? |
Feb 05, 2021The Song of Travel is for better drawing chances and no, you cannot put it on Éowyn for more resources, it just makes characters get the resource icon, meaning that, say you attach it to Bifur, he gains the resource icon. It in no way effects the how many resources you gain each round. |
