This is my version of Elrond's Family Vacation.

I just got Arwen Undómiel and Beregond from Escape from Khazad Dum. So me and my brother were going to play and I remembered seeing the original deck a long time ago, and was like, "Hey! I'm going to use Elrond's family vacation!" And my brother was like, "No that's dumb," But I didn't care so I made my version anyway. We beat Into the Pit using this and my brother's currently unpublished Gandalf-without-his-toys deck, though I got knocked out early because of threat. Today I played Wrath and Ruin multiple times and got location locked every time ): but I feel like this deck has some potential with a larger card pool.

A good add is Favor of the Valar, for more threat reduction, because that is the main problem. You could cut Resourceful for that, and if you want more copies, cut a Song.

So you want to mulligan for any threat reduction card and Master of the Forge or Peace, and Thought. Light of Valinor is always nice to see early on. In the later stages of the game (IF you make it there) you can Helm of Secrecy in Aragorn for threat reduction.

This is supposed to be thematic, so no Steward. The Dúnedain cards are because Elladan and Elrohir do cool stuff with the Dúnedain. Helm of Secrecy actually fits in perfectly because him and Arwen.

Depending on if the Gandalf deck your brother's running has chumps or allies that will die, maybe Horn of Gondor. Also, why's Trollshaw Scout in the deck? There is really no dead cards in your deck besides extra copies of Light of Valinor and Vilya which can be used for Arwen Undómiel's ability. If he's just in there for the ranged maybe add Rivendell Bow instead for Elladan.

@GreenWizard My brother's deck was a Dwarf swarm, so Horn of Gondor isn't a bad idea, but thematic, and I play this solo quite a bit too. Trollshaw Scout is there for if you need a little attack booster, or if you need defense against a really strong (or really weak) enemy.
