There is a large gap between the power level of this deck and better decks. Mine the gap.

ARMAGEDDAIN. It's easier to train dwarves to be astronauts than astronauts to be dwarves.

Some decks run out of cards to mine. Sad. Not this deck. This deck just keeps mining. You'll be so sick of mining, you'll say "please, no more mining!" And it will be like, "too bad, more mining!"

Why does this deck have 130 cards? Because I couldn't find 230.

Steward goes on Dain. This is the only out of theme card but can be easily explained with the simple point that

The Perilous Voyage contract was made for Spirit Dain was it not? If you're sputtering out, take your ball and go home. Refuse to quest until the contract flips, grab Thorongil and put it on Dane, quest for 9 unexhausted with just your heroes, and try to win in 9 turns.

Great deck - looking forward to watching the play through. I’ve built a similar deck in the past that uses Oin instead of Gandalf, so I don’t have the access to Lore. I think my mining record was about 90 cards, so I’m hoping you beat that!

I think A Perilous Voyage is my favorite contract from a game enjoyment perspective. Just put the petal to the metal, keep raising your threat, and kill enemies!

@SchadenfreudeNE Thanks! I took a look at your deck. A Very Good Tale is a great idea and should totally be in this deck as well. A 90 card discard pile, 90 cards mined, or ten cards left haha? Either way, quite the record.

The best part of having 130 cards is I feel like it's incredibly unlikely you're starting hand will have BOTH Fili and Kili. Heh.

Also noteworthy that this is a dedicated Dwarf deck, and the only time outside Lords of Gondor I've seen a deck of yours NOT include Nori, heh.

@Imrahil13 It's incredibly unlikely to have a starting hand with Fili OR Kili haha. That's a good point about Nori I could use him 130 times in one turn.
