This is the deck I used to defeat Roam across Rhovanion in my Single Core Series.
The video can be found here: https://youtu.be/7W6O-To4-Oo
I finally play the twins! Elladan and Elrohir are amazing. For one resource each you can ready them in the combat phase. With the help of their sister, Arwen Undómiel an additional resource is available each round.
I held off on playing the twins until I could build a deck that did not rely on [Steward(/card/01026), I wanted to rely on a different Steward.
I try to not use Steward of Gondor as much as possible to make my decks as multi-player friendly as possible. What this deck does in it's place is use an engine to fuel card draw and resource generation.
It works like this: Dicard Elven-light to Arwen to gain a resource, Play Elven Light from your discard pile and give it Doomed 1 per the Steward to draw a second card, this triggers the Keys of Orthanc that Arwen is holding to get that resource back. End result, Doomed 1 to draw 2 cards, no resources spent. Yes, dooming your friends instead of hoarding Steward is a trade-off, but throw some The Galadhrim's Greeting in the deck instead of Island Amid Perils and you can cover that threat increase.
The rest of the deck is standard Twins stuff, and buffs, some Noldor cards. I packed way more threat reduction into this deck for this specific quest. Against a different quest you could drop some and add more allies or events.
