Faramir is by far my favorite character in the books. For me, he is the ultimate human Hero. I am a fanboy of him and his rangers. So inspired by them, I net decked a ranger based deck and modiefied it to make a very thematic Rangers of Ithilien deck.
Straight forward play: play traps, shoot enemies. Emyn Arnen Ranger + Wingfoot heroes to quest

I like the more event idea. I will give them a try. I am also working on a variation os this deck switching Celador for tactics Eowyn (still thematic) to be able to run Followed as well |

Faramir is for sure one of the best LotR characters in the books! (although the movies do not do him justice at all). Sadly, I have never liked his version, though not for lack of trying, and I'm not sure he's the best fit for this deck. First of all, Celador can be your attacker as long as he has reliable readying, which means Faramir is not always needed. I feel like his stats are sort of wasted, and while yes, he can both quest, attack, or defend, he doesn't do so very well. Don't think I'm hating on your deck though, this is just an observation ;)
Another small problem with this deck is questing, especially if you are playing solo (which maybe is not the intent). Emyn Arnen Ranger and Ithilien Tracker work well, but they can be somewhat conditional, if you know what I mean. Consider Protector of Lórien for more boosts.
I would replace Weather-stained Cloak for Leather Boots as well. Maybe think about including some more events. Interrogation would be fun as well as fitting, and The Great Hunt would help you take care of some of those bigger enemies that can't have attachments (cough cough trolls). Scroll of Isildur can also help recycle any of those events.
Really Fun deck! Traps are my favorite archetype, and although they are not the most powerful, they are really fun! I am also a huge lover of the Ithilien Rangers, so I greatly enjoyed playing with this deck!
