The BGamerJoe 5273
This deck was designed to beat The Battle of Carn Dum in a solo setting. It has around a 1/4 win ratio but I did finally get a recorded win on YouTube. The Contract isn't a huge boon, but it does open up some fun options and, most of all, it renders many treacheries and shadow cards harmless. This doesn't make Carn Dum easy, but it is possible!
Check out the 16 minute playthrough here.

Oct 09, 2022Yes indeed |
Oct 09, 2022What's the plan for Behind Strong Walls? Only targets I can see are Defender of Rammas or Defender of Cair Andros? Seems unlikely to be useful, unless I'm missing something. (I've not played Carn Dum, so very possible). |

Oct 10, 2022and for better questing consider Steward of Orthanc his ability seems not bad in a council-deck and as overall swissknife the good old Treebeard |

Oct 11, 2022The Seeing-stone would be useful for fetching Close Call or Reckless Attack. Also, Worthy of Remembrance seems useful. You can also add The Eagles Are Coming! as another flexible cantrip -- at the very least, it replaces itself. |
