The Thematic Saga concludes with the amazing Scouring of the Shire quest from the ALEP team!

For this quest I used some of the amazing A Long Extended Party cards. I was really excited to try Farmer Maggot with his ALEP dogs. I also wanted to try the secrecy card: A Lesson in Caution and some of the new hobbit allies.
The goal of the deck was to get an ally swarm going thanks to Timely Aid, Raise the Shire, and hobbits that have enter play abilities.
I found this deck to be very straight forward to run, hobbits came and went and provided me a lot of choices. Tom Cotton was an amazing defender with a Hobbit Cloak and some help from (MotK) Rosie Cotton if needed. Merry kept my threat down with The Shirefolk.
All in all, it was a very fitting way to end my campaign because it felt like I was rousing The Shire using just Hobbit events and attachments.
