Note: This deck uses community-made cards from the 'A Long-Extended Party' expansions.

Deploy the vast Wealth of Gondor to support your fellow players with this deck. As the group's bank, your job is to use your heroes' collective wisdom to bolster your coffers as you build board strength. Then send your resources far and wide to help those in need! Use cheap allies and global buffs to pump out that Gondor swarm. Get your key attachments online with Ingold's card draw ability. Let Boromir inspire your Gondorian army with Visionary Leadership and martial prowess. Rally the West and lead your teammates to victory.

For Gondor!

A few notes on how to pilot this deck:

  • Mulligan for either Steward of Gondor or Visionary Leadership.
  • Ingold gets Steward of Gondor to allow him to use his response without raising threat. Boromir usually gets Visionary Leadership to synergize with his passive ability and reduce the number of heroes that you need to keep resources on.
  • Don't hog the resources! Most of your event cards let you stockpile resources to send abroad. With the majority of ally cards costing 1 or 2, you'll have plenty of resources to build your army. Send the remainder around the table with Errand-rider, Envoy of Pelargir, Pelargir Ship Captain, or Denethor (if there are other Gondor heroes in play).
  • Since heroes have the Gondor trait, Rammas Lookout and Rammas Sentry do not require resource matches due to their Devoted keyword. Try to keep at least 1 resource in your heroes' pools once you get them into play to take advantage of their passive abilities. They synergize really well with Boromir + Visionary Leadership (Lookouts quest for 3 without exhausting and Sentries attack for 3 plus cancel damage!). Definitely S-tier allies in this deck.
  • Citadel Custodian is a prime target for A Very Good Tale. 60% of your deck consists of allies, so it's very rare to have a whiff with this combo!
  • Threating out is the key concern for this deck. Finding and playing Favor of the Valar will often be a key mid-game objective to keep from elimination.

This deck was built for multiplayer, but works surprisingly well as a solo deck. If playing solo, ditch a few of your resource generation cards (e.g. Captain's Wisdom) for more allies or For Gondor!, which can come in quite clutch during an enemy swarm.

i would make room for 1-3 Armored Destrier and 1-2 Shining Shield and if cards are an issue the Rod of the Steward
