waltercardcollector 58
waltercardcollector has a newer deck inspired by this one: Dale 2 U Too
This is my version of the Dale starter deck from the Ered Mithrin hero expansion, modified with cards from my collection.
Notes:
- Wild Stallion is for Guardian of Esgaroth - he gets twice the boost!
- Raiment of War is primarily in here for Wiglaf. If you get it on Wiglaf, he can quest for 3, ready for free and then attack for 3 or defend for 2 - I'd like to see Glorfindel do that! And don't forget that Wiglaf's free attachment still lets you draw a card with Brand son of Bain. You can also put Raiment of War on Redwater Sentry if you haven't drawn Wiglaf yet.
- Ancient Mathom is in here not because this deck needs draw power but because I played this in a fellowship where another deck was using Haldan.
- Likewise, the other deck was also using Flight of the Eagles, so Lanwyn synergizes with the resulting Eagle of the North. Lanwyn can probably be swapped for Éowyn if you need more reliable questing power.
Things I want to do:
- Fit in A Very Good Tale. (Maybe remove Ancient Mathom.)
What do you think? Advice is welcome!
(PS. The name of this deck is a reference to the anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.)
