This deck is built to take bad cards from the encounter deck and at least cancel or discard them, if not bury them in the victory display, where they can't hurt you anymore -- using cards like Leave No Trace, None Return, Out of the Wild, and Weep No More!.
Simultaneously, this deck also uses the interesting, albeit clunky mechanic of loading friendlies into the encounter deck at every possible turn, including the following pairs: Flight to the Sea and Wind from the Sea, Tom Bombadillo! and Tom Bombadil, Ranger Summons and Ranger of the North, and Flight of the Eagles and Eagle of the North.
