Silvan Elves!!
Bouncing here and there and everywhere.
Bows and arrows that's beyond compare.
They are the Silvan Elves!

My Silvan deck mostly relies on the Song of Battle to make Haldir of Lórien work, though the deck performs quite well even without it.

In addition to Bow of the Galadhrim and Black Arrow, Galadhon Archers and Marksman of Lórien support Haldir in his long-distance duties.

Remember, Thranduil and Galadriel are also here... and they don’t need any soundtrack to make red things appear.

Heroes

Thranduil

  • Cloak of Lórien
  • Woodland King: Defensive anchor and Silvan enabler. Lets you play allies in combat and pay for any sphere.

Celeborn

Haldir of Lórien

Mulligan & Setup

Mulligan for O Lórien!. It’s our main engine for getting Silvan allies out fast.

Attachment priorities to activate Haldir:

Keep in mind that Galadriel can sometimes let us skip the need for Song of Battle if we’re lucky enough to draw the right attachments with her response.

Strategy & Card Interactions

The Elvenking and ally bouncing:
The Elvenking, The Tree People, and Feigned Voices let us recycle Silvan allies for repeated enters-play effects and defense.

Preferred target → Recycled benefit:

Thranduil’s action:
Lets us pay for and allies without needing Song of Battle or The Tree People.

Use this for Greenwood Archers, Greenwood Defenders, or expensive allies like Silvan Trackers.

Greenwood Defender:
Provides 3 the turn they enter play, and doesn’t exhaust to defend! Thranduil aside, they’re our best defenders.

Daeron's Runes and Valiant Sacrifice:
When looking for key attachments, these two events will help us find them.

  • Galadhrim Minstrel can get any of these and thins our deck in the process.
  • Galadriel's ability is a bit random, but if we’re lucky, she can be an alternative.
Plus, her husband and maidens are always happy to see her.
  • Orophin can return discarded allies to our hand, so don’t hesitate to target any of them with Daeron's Runes if needed.

Valiant Sacrifice synergizes quite well with the bouncing mechanic. Any card capable of recycling allies will get extra value if Valiant Sacrifice is in our hand.

Sideboard

  • Defender of the Naith: A great ally for flexible defense.
  • Rúmil: His response can be more destructive than Gandalf in this deck, since we have plenty of ranged allies, but his cost is a drawback.
  • Hands Upon the Bow: Good for Haldir to defeat enemies in the staging area before quest resolution.
    • On the other hand, Haldir already requires a lot of setup, so allocating additional deck slots to support him may not be the most efficient choice.
  • Host of Galadhrim: A potential game-ender, but its mechanics can be overwhelming. I usually win without it anyway.

In summary: This deck is all about Silvan synergy: bouncing allies, boosting stats, and raining arrows from afar. Mulligan for your key attachments, use The Elvenking and Thranduil for action advantage, and let Haldir and your archers keep the board clear.
