As my campaign continues I am allowed to swap out heroes for no threat increase. Éowyn replaces Merry in my hero Line-up.
This deck spams out a lot of cheap allies to enable Hail of Stones to work against the wargs. Since the active locations get damage on them for being engaged by enemies, and by some of their attacks, it is good tech against this quest to kill them in staging. Especially the Great Warg Chief.
Another piece of tech is Explorer's Almanac. You do have to travel if possible, but if ever you get a location to stay in the staging area during planning it is really handy to clear it before it is active. Steward of Gondor goes on Pippin to pay for all the cards.
Use Eowyns plus 1 more to do 6 damage to The Watcher. (Anduril works well actually since you have to shuffle it into your deck and Eowyn is Noble)
Enjoy!

youtu.be I also accidentally used this deck to beat Journey in the Dark.
