Doublecaster 23

Bilbo has enslaved a colony of dwarves, now calling himself the king of dwarves. The king, with the newfound army and his two wives Bereavor and Mirlonde he plans to conquer the middle earth.

While bilbo eats well and enjoys the night sky with a good book, the dwarves slave away exploring locations and mining resources.

You want to get Zigil Miner and A Good Harvest as fast as possible as Zigil miner will be the main source for your resources to play all the cards you draw. You can get far with Master of Lore as well as it gives you the chance to play 2 cost ally with one resource. Keep your hand if it has multiple of Daeron's Runes or Mithrandir's Advice as you should be able to draw into the miners quite fast.

Keep in mind that you want to be able to play Will of the West when your deck runs out of cards. You need A good harvest to play Will of the west, so remember to keep one of those handy as well.

Scroll of Isildur works only with Lore events, so you can't play A Good Harvest or Will of the West with it.

Do you find Master of Lore useful? He takes 3 turns to pay for himself.

Anyway it's nice to see new ideas to play Mono Lore! Mono Lore is the best :D

Yeah good point about the scroll, updated the description.

I have been thinking about dumping Master of Lore now that I added the Zigil Miner. It has rarely paid itself off before dying to some random encounter effect. I think it could be replaced with Dúnedain Pipe and Protector of Lórien
