PablOvi has a newer deck inspired by this one: Army from Valinor
The main change, regarding the previous version of this deck, is the Elf-stone removal making space for the Elwing's Flight.
Heroes:
Notes:
- I've always found this deck extremely powerful... even more than it looks. It works well even with just two heroes.
- Erestor's ability is pretty useful but the deck works in the same way without him.
- Use Círdan and Erestor discard actions to play and cards (via Stand and Fight and Reforged).
- Erestor's discard action is better to be performed at the beginning of the combat phase.
- Discard attachments for Warden of the Havens +2
- Galadriel should always be played from hand.
- Erestor's discard action is better to be performed at the beginning of the combat phase.
- Guarded Cards:
- Use Reforged to play guarded cards from the discard pile.
- Play after quest resolution for avoiding questing costs.
- Mariner's Compass response can detach guarded cards from locations without exploration.
- Use Reforged to play guarded cards from the discard pile.
- Card draw accelerators:
- Círdan's ability + Erestor's action
- Glamdring + Stone of Elostirion
- Ancient Mathom

Improvements:
- Elf-stone: Elrond and expensive allies can be played via its response.
- If played this way, Guardian of Rivendell doesn't discard any card, since he is not been played from hand.
- I removed this card since most of the time I just use it as a discard for the Warden's ability.
- Replacing the two copies of Sailor of Lune by Elrohir and Elladan could also be an option.

Feb 26, 2023Hey I preffer the Ancient Mathom just because it is an attachment and, since the Warden of the Havens is my main defender, I also can use the mathom for boosting their defense. Thanks for your suggestion. :) |
Wouldn't Elven-light be better instead of Ancient Mathom?
